Introducing the LAUNCH Cloud Kitchen Incubator

I’m excited to announce the kick-off of the LAUNCH Cloud Kitchen Incubator (LCK), a 14-week program to help entrepreneurs start, build, and scale a food business.

As I’m sure you are aware, a cloud kitchen (aka ghost kitchen) is a virtual restaurant operated like a regular restaurant but without dine-in.

We believe there is a unique opportunity for founders to create the next legendary culinary brand enabled by these booming platforms, and we would like to accelerate the process for them.

The LCK will provide mentorship on kitchen economics, business operations, digital marketing, sales, branding, and fundraising.

We’ll accept seven entrepreneurs for our first cohort beginning in fall 2023.

We are looking for:

• Successful tech entrepreneurs interested in the food/ghost kitchen space

• Food entrepreneurs who want to expand in the ghost kitchen space

• Entrepreneurs or chefs looking for a co-founder

You don’t need an existing business to apply -- just a great idea!

PS - For the LPs in our funds (LAUNCH Fund 1 through LAUNCH Fund 4), our initial experiment in this space will be outside of those funds since we understand you didn’t sign up to back food companies. After we’ve invested in a dozen or two of these companies from a modest special vehicle (LAUNCH Fund CK 1), we will consider inviting in more partners. Going to be fun to see where this goes!
